One of my favourite independent online vendors is Merrimaking - they make custom animal hoods! Two girls sewing furiously in Nottingham to bring us awesome hoods...
I bought an arctic fox hood -just- before the weather got really hot (typical!) and I am kind of waiting for it to get cold so I can wear it properly :)
They're oversized (for extra head snuggliness) and made of the softest fur, with cool vintage fabric linings.
Here I am, modelling mine in a late-night drunken Photo Booth session (classy as all hell, I know)...
