Violent Lips

Today in the cavalcade of weird fashion things I've seen - lip transfers! From what I've seen in the hideously awkward instructional video, they are applied with water, like those dragon/tiger/pirate tattoos that used to come free in cereal. But to your lips.
All kinds of questions arise - do they flake off if you kiss someone? Does it transfer to their lips? Eating, drinking?
