Frankenweenie!

So it looks like Tim Burton (love of my creative life, dark and spooky god) is re-making Frankenweenie, his 1984 live-action film, as a stop-motion film to be released in 2012!

I loved the original, its typical cheery Americana with an undercurrent of weirdness, as a boy brings his pet dog back to life, a la Frankenstein. I can't wait to see it in Nightmare Before Christmas-style stop-motion. Read a few more details on Wired.
